Experienced Client Accountant / Property Accountant required for a well-established Property Management company, based in West London, with an impressive portfolio of clients in the UK and overseas. Please note that position will be office based, although some remote working may be required subject to any change in Covid restrictions.

As part of a small, friendly and supportive accounting team, you will deal with clients and property owners directly while having full responsibility for a portfolio of commercial properties including offices, retail parks, shopping centres and industrial estates. Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of client and service charge accounting with good knowledge of Tramps Property Management software and Sage 50.

The position offers a basic salary of up to 40k per annum, annual bonus, 25 days’ holiday plus excellent career prospects and the opportunity to join a successful and growing company. Working hours are 9am till 5.30pm (Monday to Friday) with 1 hour for lunch.

The role will be broad in nature, with responsibilities including;

· Setting up new clients / properties on the Tramps property management system

· Charge raising, demand generation, receipts processing, issuing tax invoices

· Cashiering, banking and Credit Control work

· Bought Ledger work to include posting invoices on to the Tramps software system

· Supplier payment runs and issuing remittance advice notes

· Dealing with and resolving supplier queries

· Preparation of Service Charge accounts, reconciliations, certificates and calculating the balancing service charge adjustments and raising demands for these

· Bank reconciliations of client bank accounts on Tramps

· Management fees calculations

· Regular Client Statement reporting – sorting, photocopying, collating and mailing/emailing reports

· Preparation of VAT Reports, Photocopying and collating backup invoices to accompany client VAT Reports and posting/emailing to clients

· Spreadsheet work – customised client reporting

· Assisting Surveyors and Facilities Managers in all aspects of accounting and property related work

· Acting as a main focal point for Clients, managing Client relationships and working closely with the wider Property Management team to ensure a smooth and robust client service delivery

· Managing the data held on the Tramps database and putting in place robust processes to ensure accuracy

· Reviewing client statements/period end reporting
